FILE - In this Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 file photo Manchester United fans show green and gold scarves of Newton Heath, the origin of Manchester United soccer club, in a 'Love United, Hate Glazer' protest campaign against the U.S. owner as some fans show the current scarves of red during their English League Cup Final soccer match against Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium in north-west London. As Manchester United and Liverpool _ the Premier League's fiercest foes _ prepare to battle on the pitch on Sunday, supporters of both clubs are intensifying their campaigns against a common enemy: American owners. But Man United fans have mounted the most successful campaign by getting most of Old Trafford to wear protest green and gold scarves at matches and they are working with leading financiers to form a takeover bid to oust the owning Glazers family, who have burdened the 18-time English champions with debt.
